Read ‘Changes to the delivery of SIA licence-linked training’ to find out more about what the changes mean for you.

Read ‘Get Training’ to understand how you must deliver (and quality assure) SIA licence-linked qualifications from 1 April 2021. This document will replace our ‘Introduction to Learning Leading Towards Licence-linked Qualifications’.

Read ‘First aid training requirement for door supervisors and security guards’ to find out what you must check if you offer the training required for a door supervisor or security guard licence. This document also explains what you must do if you want to offer first aid training yourself.

Read our ‘Knowledge and skills’ specification documents to understand the foundations of the SIA licence-linked qualifications. These documents will replace our existing specification documents on 1 April 2021.

  1. Added new information to the 'Changes to the delivery of SIA licence-linked training' document, in response to questions raised during a recent webinar. The new information is covered in questions 1.9, 1.10, 1.11, 3.1 and 3.2.

  2. Added the 'First aid training requirement for door supervisors and security guards' document.

  3. Replaced the 'Get Training' document with a corrected version.

  4. Added 9 'knowledge and skills specification' documents to the page. Updated the 'Changes to the delivery of SIA licence-linked training' document to add a new item to the 'New licence-linked qualifications' section.

  5. Added the 'Changes to the delivery of SIA licence-linked training' document.

  6. Replaced the 'Get Training' document with a corrected version.
