StrataTrapper: Commercialising Breakthrough Research on Accurate Reservoir Simulation for Subsurface Carbon Dioxide Storage

Project lead: Imperial College London

StrataTrapper addressed cutting edge research in geological fluid dynamics and trapping of CO2 into innovative characterisation and modelling software tools that could be used by industry to reduce risks and costs of carbon dioxide storage projects. The intent is to commercialise this work through incorporation into the carbon dioxide reservoir simulation platform OpenGoSim, in addition to being made open-source.
