Details

This exception notice recognises the construction and transportation of quick release valve assemblies used in fire protection systems.

This exception notice will be withdrawn on 7 November 2025. You must make sure you comply with the applicable edition of standard ISO 17871.

The Department for Transport can issue exception notices to the dangerous goods regulations, which include the recognition of certain standards.
