The Environment Agency has received an application to vary (change) an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Nestle UK Ltd.
The proposed variation does not involve substantial change.

The application is for the relocation of the wet-mix process to an area currently outside the installation boundary in order to provide more space for the process. There is no increase to production capacity. While there are no new emission source points, the wet-mix process emission source point will be relocated. The site is located next to a SAC/SSSI and the site boundary is increasing. Overall, the risk is low and the proposed changes should lead to a more efficient and optimised site.
