The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Robert Skelton Contractors Limited.

A new Bespoke waste permit application for the physical treatment of non-hazardous waste. The waste treatment activity involves the drying of wet paper sludge received from paper mills to sell as a pure dried paper product, and/or blending it with sawdust from virgin timber to produce a material used for animal bedding. Drying is achieved by using heat from onsite biomass boilers.
