CA14 4JH, FCC Recycling (UK) Ltd: environmental permit variation application advertisement – EPR/MB3091DL/V003

View and comment on the variation application (MB3091DL/V003) and current environmental permit for FCC Recycling (UK) Ltd’s operations at Lillyhall Landfill Site, Joseph Noble Road, Workington (MB3091DL). The operator has applied to vary the list of radionuclides, or groupings of radionuclides contained in schedule 3, table S3.1 (disposal of solid waste on the premises by deposit or burial in a disposal facility) of their environmental permit, reference MB3091DL. The variation seeks to include the following in table S3.1: - Europium-155, - Other beta/gamma - Other alpha The application does not involve any increases in total waste volumes (metres cubed) or total waste activity (TBq) to be accepted over the lifetime of the site.
