The Government Finance Function (GFF) has published a budget holder financial forecasting handbook. This sets out why it is important to provide accurate and timely forecasts, what good looks like, and what the benefits are. It presents clear principles to follow, supporting budget holders working within government organisations to succeed at financial forecasting.
