The Environment Agency has received an application to vary (change) an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Bristol Waste Company Limited.
The proposed variation does not involve substantial change.

Permit variation to upgrade Waste Management Licence to modern conditions permit non-hazardous and hazardous waste site. Proposals to increase: throughput from 75K to 150K tonnes per annum, add physical treatment activities of mechanically sort/separate Dry Mixed Recyclate (DMR), cans and plastics indoors, crush aggregates and shred outdoors. To now accept new bagged absorbent hygiene products to transfer.
