The table below shows numbers of Breathing Space compliance reminders sent to creditors by The Insolvency Service by money advisor groups. Only those that have registered the largest volumes of Breathing Space moratoriums are included. All other money advisor groups are included in ‘Other’.

If a creditor does not comply with the protections of Breathing Space, and a client tells their Money Advisor, the Money Advisor should contact the creditor to remind them of their obligations.
If a creditor continues not complying, Money Advisors can contact the Insolvency Service, who contact the creditor to remind them of their obligations and ask them to apply the Breathing Space protections.
