The table below shows numbers of Breathing Space compliance reminders sent to creditors by The Insolvency Service by money advisor groups. Only those that have registered the largest volumes of Breathing Space moratoriums are included. All other money advisor groups are included in ‘Other’.

Numbers have been rounded to the nearest 5 and therefore the sum of numbers for the money advisor groups does not add up to the total.
Excludes 380 suspected duplicate notifications.
If a creditor does not comply with the protections of Breathing Space, and a client tells their Money Advisor, the Money Advisor should contact the creditor to remind them of their obligations.
If a creditor continues not complying, Money Advisors can contact the Insolvency Service, who contact the creditor to remind them of their obligations and ask them to apply the Breathing Space protections.
