Details

The UK annual fishing plan for bluefin tuna includes trialling a UK commercial fishery in 2023. The plan has been endorsed by the International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT).

This document explains:

• the bluefin tuna fishing quota for 2023
• how the trial fishery will work
• the criteria for licence authorisation
• expressions of interest to take part in the trial
