List of organisations approved to provide training for people carrying out the role of best interests assessors (BIAs).

BIAs play an important role in the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, which are part of the mental capacity act.
Organisations approved to provide BIA training can be found on the Social Care Institute for Excellence website, listed under the Department of Health section: ‘Best Interest Assessor training ‒ approved providers’
