The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Kiely Bros Limited.

Regulated facility type
Physical treatment facility. The site is proposing to accept mechanically treated dry, inert and non-hazardous construction, demolition and excavation waste as defined in the Controlled Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2012 and Section 75 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990. Waste treatment activities to be carried out on site includes compacting, sorting, screening, separation, blending, washing and centrifuging. The operation will primarily involve further treatment qualifying fines by washing through a high specification wash plant.
