A note on this guidance

This non-statutory guidance is being published in relation to the Hazards in Social Housing (Prescribed Requirements) (England) Regulations 2025 also known as Awaab’s Law. These regulations came into force on 27 October 2025.

Separate guidance on Awaab’s Law for social landlords is available.
