This document has been produced to help social landlords understand and navigate their responsibilities in relation to Awaab’s Law. This guidance also provides examples of how Awaab’s law may apply in particular cases.

This guidance is being published in draft, and the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government will continue to work with interested parties and stakeholders to refine this ahead of implementation of Awaab’s Law in October 2025.
