These financial directions are issued under Sections 26 (3), (3a) and (4) of the National Lottery Etc. Act 1993 (As Amended By The National Lottery Act 1998). They are issued to the Arts Council England, by the Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), to use in their role as a distributing body of National Lottery funds.
