Apply to remove your home address from the public register (SR01)

Use this form to apply as an individual under section 1088 to remove your home address, or part of it, from the public register.

Before you apply, you should read our guidance on restricting the disclosure of your information. Any reference to ‘company’ includes limited liability partnership (LLP) and eligible Scottish partnership.

You’ll need to know which documents contain your home address. Check this by finding your company on the Companies House register.

You can use this form if you are (or were) a:

  • company officer
  • person with significant control (PSC)
  • subscriber or member of a company, LLP, societas Europaea (SE) or eligible Scottish partnership
  • officer or permanent representative of an overseas company

You cannot ask to remove your company’s registered office address, even if it’s your home address.

It costs £55 for each document which contains the address you want to remove.

We’ll reject your application if you do not include the correct fee. You must include a cheque or postal order payable to ‘Companies House’.
