Work permit applications
Work permit applications for transferring to the Swiss branch of a UK-based company or, working for a Swiss company on a Swiss employment contract, as well as for applications for providing long term services to a Swiss client, must be filed with the Amt für Wirtschaft und Arbeit. The application has to be submitted via mail. The processing time is typically 6 to 8 weeks.
With the application your employer needs to submit a B2 form (on the Zug Canton website).

In addition to the required form you will need to provide copies of your:
- employment contract or assignment agreement
- passport
- criminal record
- CV
- relevant qualifications
