This guidance tells UKVI caseworkers how to consider applications under Appendix HM Armed Forces.

A partner or dependent child of a member of HM Armed Forces or of a service leaver can also apply on this route.

An application can be made up to 18 weeks prior to an HM Armed Forces member discharging from service.
