Details

To be completed on an annual basis and provide the Department with the information on the management of Shellfish Orders.

Data is used to compile annual fisheries statistics, an EU requirement and allows us to get an idea of how well an Order is being managed.

This is important as, in granting these Orders we sever the public right to fish and need to be confident that the Orders are being maintained (we would look to cease the Order otherwise and return the fishery to the wider public fishery).
