This contingency plan should be completed for journeys over 8 hours. It applies to the transport of cattle, sheep , goats, pigs and unregistered domestic equidae to the EU and Third Countries.
The plan should be submitted with every journey log application before the Animal and Plant Health Agency will issue an approved log. It should be kept with the journey log and any other export paperwork on the journey.
