Groups who wish to apply to open an alternative provision (AP) free school should use the forms on this page.

The ‘Free school applications: criteria for assessment’ document gives guidance on the application process, including the deadline for submitting applications.

If you are applying to open an AP free school, you should also fill in the financial template (section G of the application). The template will help you plan your budget.
