Alcohol Duty — repayment interest

This measure is about repayment interest for Alcohol Duty aiming to compensate businesses fairly when they overpay.

Details

This measure allows HMRC to pay repayment interest on Alcohol Duty to businesses, in certain circumstances, under parts 2 and 3 of schedule 3 of the Finance Act 2001 (FA 2001). The repayment interest rate is the rate in effect under section 102 of Finance Act 2009 (FA 2009).
