Use the online service to send your air passenger duty return (APD2).

Send a return online (sign in to or set up a Government Gateway account)

You need to register for air passenger duty before you send a return. We’ll tell you when your return is due. Plane operators and their agents can use this service to send their air passenger duty return either:

Before you start

If you’re submitting your own return and don’t have a Government Gateway account, you can create one at the start of the online service.

Agents will need their access code and their client’s air passenger duty registration number. If you’re an agent or representative and don’t have a user ID and password, you should create one at the Government Gateway.

If you’re unable to use the online service contact HMRC for a paper version.
