These grant determination letters confirm the amount of funding for 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027. They cover the adult skills fund (ASF) grant payments (non-ring fenced), skills bootcamps payments (non-ring fenced) and free courses for jobs (both ring-fenced and non-ringfenced) funding.
The funding is transferred from the department to local authorities under section 31 of the Local Government Act 2003.
These are the specified Strategic Authorities who are responsible for administrating the ASF in their devolved area:

- Cornwall
- Devon and Torbay
- East Midlands
- Greater Lincolnshire
- Hull and East Yorkshire
- Lancashire
- Surrey
- Tees Valley
- Warwickshire
- West of England
- York and North Yorkshire
