This report is part of a 3-year evaluation of the adoption support fund. It covers findings from qualitative interviews with adoptive parents and special guardian carers.
A small number of families were asked in-depth about:
- child and family characteristics and needs
- their experiences of seeking help through the adoption support fund
- how satisfied they were with the support they received
- the perceived consequences of the support on the children and their families
- any outstanding unmet needs
