This report is part of a 3-year evaluation of the adoption support fund. It relates to the third and final wave of an online questionnaire completed by adoptive parents and carers of children with a special guardianship order.

The second follow up survey was completed 6 months after support from the adoption support fund ended.

Families were asked a range of questions covering:

  • the mental health and emotional well being of them and their children
  • their perception of how helpful the support had been
  • their family needs at that point in time
