This report covers findings from a 3-year evaluation of the adoption support fund.
It relates to the first of 3 online questionnaires completed by adoptive parents and carers of children with a special guardianship order (SGO).
The baseline survey was completed between November 2018 and February 2020, immediately before a package of funded support commenced.
Families were asked a range of questions about their:
- experiences of seeking and getting help through the adoption support fund
- child and family needs at the time
