Details

English local transport authorities outside London can bid for the Access Fund for 2017 to 2018 through to 2019 to 2020.

The Access Fund will help local authorities to deliver sustainable transport projects that support economic growth.

To be considered for funding, bids should:

  • express how the scheme will contribute to economic growth
  • demonstrate support for boosting the numbers of people cycling and walking
  • state how the scheme will improve access to jobs, skills, education and training

Bids that receive the highest scores against the assessment criteria will be awarded funding.
