Details

The UK’s Electricity Networks Commissioner, Nick Winser, was appointed in July 2022 as an independent advisor to government.

He engaged with stakeholders across the electricity transmission network deployment process between July 2022 and July 2023.

This is his independent report setting out recommendations to halve the total development time for transmission infrastructure.

The Secretary of State has written to Nick thanking him for his report.
