Financial management and governance self assessment (FMGS) for new academy trusts to submit to the Education Funding Agency (EFA).

Detail

  • Accounting officers of academy trusts must submit their financial management and governance statement (FMGS) using the online form or provide alternative assurance within 4 months of opening.

  • If you are joining an existing multi-academy trust which has previously prepared audited accounts and you plan to adopt the same financial management and governance arrangements, your accounting officer will need to confirm this on the online form.
