The documents on this page are for use by those academy trusts that need to complete their 2016 to 2017 budget forecast return: outturn (BFRO) by 19 May 2017.

ESFA introduced the BFRO to ensure the sector can accurately report its financial data to HM Treasury.

You can read further information about this in Peter Lauener’s letter to academy trust accounting officers: March 2017 and also in our budget forecast return: outturn webinar.
