Details

It will highlight a number of challenges for health and town planning along with reference to issues specific to the NHS; it will outline the correlation between planning and health; identify some key areas where planning is likely to have an impact on health; and encourage NHS organisations to get involved in the planning process, to ensure that the needs of the health service are taken into consideration, and met, every step of the way, from planning policy through to planning applications.
