  3. Updated the statistic of children in care in England as a result of national statistics up to March 2013. Also added details about the consultation on improving permanence of placements for looked-after children (launched in September 2013), and updated the list of organisations we're working with to support looked-after children.

  4. Added information on changes to the regulations surrounding the approval and assessment of foster carers, introduced on 1 July 2013. Also updated the list of consultations to include the 3 consultations on looked-after children launched on 25 June 2013.
