Details
Each year, we publish the policy for in-year growth payments. We will apply that policy using early data returns from institutions delivering 16 to 19 education (including up to age 24 for those with high needs) and award in-year growth where necessary.
This is our method for calculating in-year growth awards for academic year 2026 to 2027.
All references to R04 in this guidance mean the R04 student figure with a 1 November reference date applied.
