Sir Nick Harvey

Biography

Sir Nicholas ‘Nick’ Harvey was Minister for the Armed Forces from May 2010 to September 2012. He has been the Liberal Democrat MP for North Devon since 1992.

Education

Nick was educated at Queen’s College in Taunton and Middlesex University.

Political career

Nick was the Liberal Democrat Shadow Defence Secretary from 2006 to 2010.

Career outside politics

Before entering Parliament Nick worked in communications and marketing for the City consultants Dewe Rogerson.

Personal life

Nick is married and has 2 children.
