NHS England

NHS England has a separate website

NHS England authorises the new clinical commissioning groups, which are the drivers of the new, clinically-led commissioning system introduced by the Health and Social Care Act.

Prior to 1 April 2013, NHS England was known as the NHS Commissioning Board.

NHS England is an executive non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Department of Health and Social Care.
