Voices of Afghan Women

Women have a way to go before they achieve full equality with men in Afghanistan, but through their determination progress is being made.

Earlier this week, seven influential Afghan women visited London, including a female governor and representatives from civil society groups. Their words are interspersed with footage of poorer Afghan women for whom the struggle is even more basic.
