Update of UK Shadow Flicker evidence base
In November 2010, DECC commissioned consultants Parsons Brinckerhoff to produce a report to update the government’s evidence base on shadow flicker.

In November 2010, DECC commissioned consultants Parsons Brinckerhoff to produce a report to update the government’s evidence base on shadow flicker - the flickering effect caused when rotating wind turbine blades periodically cast shadows over neighbouring properties as they turn, through constrained openings such as windows.
The report has now been published:
