Ukraine travel advice update

Foreign Office advises against all but essential travel to eastern Ukrainian regions Kharkiv, Donetsk and Lugansk.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office is now advising against all but essential travel to the regions Kharkiv, Donetsk and Lugansk in eastern Ukraine. This is because of increased regional tensions.

The FCO continues to advise against all travel to Crimea, and advises any British nationals remaining in Crimea to leave.

Travel advice for the rest of Ukraine remains unchanged, but we continue to advise all British nationals to take great care and remain vigilant in all parts of the country.
