With immediate effect, all visa applicants under the age of five years are required to attend the visa application centre to submit their application. Applicants under the age of five are now required to have their photograph taken as part of the visa application submission process. However, they will not be required to provide their fingerprints.

Applicants will be directed to book an appointment at the appropriate visa application centre following completion of their online application through our Visa4UK website.

Visit the UKVI web pages for further information on types of visas to the UK.
