成百上千名陆军士兵在今天（2015年10月20日）参加了英国为中国国家主席习近平举行的隆重欢迎仪式。
英国女王、（爱丁堡公爵）菲利普亲王、（康沃尔公爵和夫人）威尔士亲王查尔斯王储和夫人、英国首相、内阁高级成员、伦敦金融城市长、伦敦市市长和高级军事将领一同出席了欢迎习近平主席和夫人彭丽媛的仪式。另有1100余名士兵和230余匹军马参与到欢迎仪式中。
