The British Embassy in Mexico City presents the report "Women in formal and informal labour markets in Mexico"
The report was funded by the UK government through the “Work and Opportunities for Women” programme.
The document aims to set out women’s position in the informal economy as well as the key opportunities and barriers to women working in the formal economy in Mexico (including to individual women, the community, businesses and the broader economy).
It also offers recommendations to the British Embassy in Mexico in order to drive transformational change on women’s economic empowerment in formal and informal labour markets.
