Political parties encouraged to continue working together to reach agreement

Speaking earlier today the Secretary of State wished Dr Haass and the NI parties well in the next few day of talks

Secretary of State commented:

I encourage the parties to continue to work towards an agreed way forward on these divisive issues, as part of wider efforts to build a united and shared society. I wish them well in the coming days and thank Dr Haass and his team for agreeing to continue with these negotiations in the run-up to Christmas.
