  • Hornby Scholarships: These scholarships are awarded each year to English teachers from all over the world and cover all expenses to attend a Master’s in ELT at the University of Warwick. The registration deadline is February 16, 2018

  • Researcher Links Workshop: Opportunity to attend the workshop “Translating knowledge to innovation: exploring the potential of biological science in agri-food challenges”, in Guarujá, São Paulo, Brazil, aimed at early career researchers, who can present their research and debate together with other researchers from the United Kingdom and partner countries. Entries will be accepted until February 19, 2018

  • Future News Worldwide: Journalism conference organized by the British Council together with some of the most important media outlets worldwide. It is an opportunity to travel to Scotland to work together with some of the best editors, journalists, speakers and writers worldwide in an intensive training program. Entries will be accepted until February 28, 2018

  • PhD studies in University of Bristol: Call for doctoral studies at the University of Bristol. Areas: Environment and environmental services, Agricultural and agro industrial production, Human and animal health (includes pharmaceutical), Energy, ICT, Education and social development, Logistics and transport, Software, Computer services and Audiovisual production. Registration closes on March 15, 2018

  • PhD studies in University of Lincoln: Call for doctoral studies at the University of Lincoln. Areas: Environment and environmental services, Human and animal health (includes pharmaceutical), Biotechnology, Nanotechnology. Registrations will be accepted until March 15, 2018

  • Global Challenges Research Fund Networking Grants: This is a scheme that allows researchers across the sciences, social sciences, engineering, humanities and medicine from developing countries and the UK to hold networking events, to forge new links and generate innovative transdisciplinary research ideas to address global challenges. Researchers based in Uruguay may act as a collaborator, with the lead applicant being from a DAC-listed country and a co-applicant from the UK. Applications can be submitted until March 21, 2018

  • PhD studies in Canterbury Christ Church University: Call for doctoral studies at Canterbury Christ Church University. Full time scholarships are offered in a large number of areas. There are also part-time scholarships available in some subject areas
