Reckitt announced as Principal Partner for COP26 climate summit in Glasgow

One of the world’s largest health, hygiene and nutrition companies, Reckitt, has been announced as a Principal Partner for COP26.

One of the world’s largest health, hygiene and nutrition companies, Reckitt, has been announced as a Principal Partner for COP26, as businesses continue to play a vital role ahead of the international climate change summit in Glasgow this November.

Reckitt is the maker of Dettol, which is one of the world’s most recognisable hygiene brands. They are already working with the Football Association and British Airways helping them provide enhanced hygiene protection.

For COP26, Reckitt will support the UK government in delivering a safe conference - providing advice and scientific expertise on hygiene protocols, and supplying Dettol products to help prevent spread of bacteria and viruses, including COVID, and deliver a safe conference.

Reckitt is the eighth Principal Partner who will support the delivery of a successful and ambitious COP26. The company joins SSE, ScottishPower, NatWest Group, National Grid, Sky, Sainsbury’s and Hitachi.

Through these partnerships, the COP26 Presidency is showing a clear commitment to working with businesses who are taking real steps towards net zero.

Reckitt is already committed to science-based targets to meet the Paris Climate Agreement by 2030; be carbon neutral by 2040; and power their all operations with 100% renewable electricity by 2030.
