Public Health England launches Clinical Excellence Awards 2013

The Advisory Committee on Clinical Excellence Awards (ACCEA) has launched their round of Clinical Excellence Awards. PHE is administering the Clinical Excellence Award process at both local (employer-based) and national levels for eligible public health consultants. The deadline for national applications to be submitted to ACCEA is Friday 27 September 2013. PHE’s deadline is Friday 16 August 2013.

Dr Paul Cosford, Director for Health Protection and Medical Director at PHE, said:

Applications for both the employer-based and national awards are now being accepted by PHE, and are open to public health medical and dental consultants employed directly by PHE, in local authorities and university academics.

National awards applications will ultimately be submitted via ACCEA’s online system.

The relevant forms can be found below. Completed applications for the employer-based awards and applications for the national awards requiring support can be sent, along with the applicant’s employer statement, to CEA2013@phe.gov.uk. All forms must be received by Friday 16 August 2013.
