The Prime Minister's Official Spokesperson answered questions about the resettlement of Syrian refugees and Lord Ashcroft's book.
Syrian refugee resettlement
When asked about Syrian refugee resettlement the Prime Minister’s Official Spokesperson (PMOS) said that refugees would continue to arrive in the UK in an extension of the existing asylum seeker resettlement programme, which has already seen over 200 Syrian refugees resettled in the UK. This is in addition to a further 5,000 Syrians granted asylum in the UK since the conflict began.
Lord Ashcroft book
When asked about the Lord Ashcroft book the PMOS said she did not intend to dignify the book by commenting on it.
