Press release

Press briefing: afternoon 12 November 2013

The Prime Minister’s Spokesperson (PMS) answered questions on the spare room subsidy and terrorism prevention.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

Spare room subsidy

Asked about the Cabinet’s attendance at the opposition debate on the spare room subsidy, the PMS said the government had clearly made its case on the issue already.

Terror prevention

Asked about measures to prevent terror and TPIM absconds, the PMS said there had been a recent case of an abscond and the priority remained to locate the individual. The government would see if there were lessons to be learnt from that specific case.
