Potential Post Office® strikes in 3% of branch network

Potential Post Office® strike action in Crown branches on Saturday 24 August, Monday 26 August (in some Scottish branches only) and Tuesday 27 August (most Crown branches).

DVLA has been informed by Post Office® that 3% of branches may be affected by strike action on Saturday 24 August, Monday 26 August (in some Scottish branches) and Tuesday 27 August (most branches). Post Office® has put together a list of branches which may be affected by the strike action to help plan your visit.

DVLA customers are reminded that they can tax their vehicle online. Customers wishing to take their vehicle off the road can make a SORN online.

Due to new legislation you now have 14 days to display a tax disc providing you have taxed before the last day of the month.

Customers who have recently changed their address or are a new keeper will need to ensure their details are updated on DVLA records before making an online application. This can be done at Post Office® branches not affected by strike action. The whole list of branches can be found the Post Office® branch finder service.
