PM meeting with Luxembourg's PM Xavier Bettel

David Cameron met with Luxembourg's PM Xavier Bettel and discussed Mediterranean migration, Russia-Ukraine and economic reform.

The Prime Minister and Luxembourg’s PM Xavier Bettel met this evening over a working dinner. They discussed some of the key issues facing the EU, including addressing the UK’s concerns, Mediterranean migration, Russia-Ukraine and economic reform.

The Prime Minister set out his main priorities for our renegotiation. PM Bettel expressed a readiness to engage in discussion on these priorities, including during Luxembourg’s presidency of the EU which begins next month.
